Yup. I'm assuming coming from a small delta school and then a JUCO school running a triple option, we don't really know how he'll play on the field and that he'll have to redshirt regardless in order to learn the position some. But if he shows any hands at all, that seems like a fine risk for the potential reward.

I just don't think Taylor & Heath go to the same college. Kind of like a Kylin & Cam Akers deal. I'd love to be wrong but I'm not holding out a lot of hope on it.

I like how Brown quoted his commitment, he said he is furthering his education and career at MSU. He did not say he is just committing. I know it does not mean much but it shows another level of maturity to me.

We would likely still take Patterson but he will have to meet certain requirements, have a good camp showing and a successful, clean season at Hinds. He clearly has two strikes already.

24th and 26th ranked players in Mississippi doesn't sound very good for them. For their sakes, I hope those rankings are wrong

Well, we currently have commits from #'s 6, 14, 16, 18, and 19 from the MS. HS rankings to date. Looks like 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, & 20 are still available.

Some kids are going to want to go to OM esp instate. No matter how bad MSU or OM get they're each going to still get some quality instate kids. See MSU with Croom.

True. Very true. But we have to get more of the swing guys if we are ever going to get to a higher level. We aren't going to kill it out of state as a rule. I'm. It complaining. Point out a fact. And I think we've done that on a couple so far. But need to up the percentage.

If you look at the name schools currently behind us (we are #16 as of now with an 86.65 avg and only one 4*), without a strong finish this class could wind up at about 28 to 32. Just saying and I know some players will get ranked higher (hope it's ours) before the early signing date. Hail State to a strong finish!

We are going to sign a good many jucos, as we should, I think. Add that to the fact that the state is rather weak, our class isn't going to have a ton of star power. Just how it is.

I agree with everything you said except I don't think the state is weak. I think the state is missing star power but I think the state is pretty deep with P5/SEC talent.
