247 is the only service to rank him. They have him ranked as a 88 which is a high 3*. Rivals and ESPN will have him ranked after more film comes out. The staff jump on him early cause they believe his is going to blow up. See Jonathan Davis from last yearQuote:

My nephew is going through this process as we speak. He was literally told ?if you want a star ranking, you have to go to this camp at this time.?
247 does a composite of either their own camps or the ratings from about 2-3 other sources/camps. If a kid does not attend an exposure camp early on, he does not normally get seen by people who rate stars. So yes, you have to attend certain events or have someone very well connected in your corner.

Carter won’t be a 3 star when the updated rankings come out before signing day
If Turner is happier than a teenage girl dating the QB, then Carter has a chance to be great. Turner was a huge get for the staff. Good as it gets.
My source says we will have another 4 star commit Saturday, but has no idea who it is.
