And that should realistically be the goal. We can't get there without a dual threat qb. Don't even waste a scholarship on a guy that can move the chains vs an sec team with his legs

So if you take away the sack yardage he clearly has positive yardage. So yeah. He is mobile enough.
Also, again EVERYONE on this board said over and over and over again that they didn't want him running because he would get hurt. So, that's exactly what Lebby has done basically and now you're questioning why he isn't Superman and runs more while DL and LB's are all over his ass.
And let me remind people that you are the guy that wanted us to hire Dave Clawson as our coach.
If folks in college programs continue to pitch this narrative, it will kill college football. There are already lifelong diehards in my circle who donated lots of money to their programs over the years who have said no more. College football better wake up and institute cap spending or watch the sport as it is now disappear.
Look at the rest of our team compared to what we had last year though. That's not what has happened. We spent more money and we are vastly improved on defense. And you look at a team like Vandy- NIL and the portal has made them respectable. There is a lot of parity now and it's more about talent identification really IMO. Even WR where we have historically struggled in recruiting and we of the top ten WR's in the SEC four on the list either played for MSU or played for MSU last year.
Personally, I think the changes have been good for MSU but MSU just had to come around to embracing it.
I can see this. If a player is all about money(and some aren?t) and we offer more, the Alabamas, Texas schools will just offer more and the price continues to rise. If we are improved from last year. I guess go after the good players that the big schools are not necessarily dying to have. Salary cap and contract this crap quick please
