1. A message board poster has correctly concluded over numerous coaches and medical professionals that Q's injury is too much of a detriment to his current and future playing career to continue playing without very risky surgery, despite having an almost infinitely small fraction of the knowledge, experience, and available information of these people,

2. Q is a second year player thrust into a weighty leadership role in more ways than one after little preparation under minimal expectations last year, and still learning along with the rest of this young team.
I already know what the answer is going to be, but does the former honestly sound more plausible than the latter? No one else sees these "obvious signs" that Q's injury is severely limiting him. Not coaches, not commentators, not analysts, not other fans. You're completely alone in that belief and the idea that risky, uncertain surgery is the correct action for both his immediate and future professional career. Try to let that sink in.
