No start time set. weather delay

I was starting to wonder.. Guessing the start time to be 2:30

Billingsley pitching for us
Colt Smith pitching for USM

And yes, not only does ED know more than Ole Miss fans about Ole Miss sanctions...we also know more than USM fans about USM baseball apparently...

Report was that Keys MAY start but people were expecting Smith. I'm not sure what the deal was with Smith warming up in the pen. Starting Keys never made sense.

Interesting to see what they do with the weather.

If they try to start this afternoon, there will almost certainly have a delay in the middle of the game. If they start around 7, things should be cleared out and they probably wouldn't be interrupted....but they would only get one game in. How do they weigh out possibly getting two games in but risking an interruption with one (which is a wild card and you never know how it will affect a team) vs. no interruption but only getting one game in.

This thing should have started at 10 or 11 this morning.

So if there will be another delay a few innings in, do we start someone else and let Billingsley take over after the delay?

I wonder if our players ever get on ED during rain delays? I would. I'd be like, "Damn Jake, they're saying they could roll that shit up to the plate and your free swingin ass would swing at it, Haha".

Ha, I don't know...JB has been known not to go but 1 or 2 innings at times. He may getbpulled before the 2nd

Unfortunately Price hasn't been the same since that ankle sprain. Really hope he recovers his mojo, if not this year, then by next season.

They should have started at about 9 AM instead of making us sit in the dugout all day
