    McCarty threw 90 pitches on Friday. He might start in a potential game 2. But even that might be a stretch.

    Could come in relief and throw 2-3 innings.

    Seriously people, tomorrow is going to be interesting. What USM has left is nothing compared to SEC play. It's not like facing Auburns Mize and Thompson or LSU Poche and Lange or Florida Faedo and Singer

    Its like facing our Jolly and Barlow ... two good JUCO guys but not 1st round draft picks tomorrow

    Y'all remember before the season started and we were all talking about how we figured we'd need a big game out of Denver McQuary and Peyton Plumlee to get to a regional final?
    As frustrating as they are to watch sometimes these Bulldog players and coaches deserve a lot of credit for getting this far.
    I needed to say that before I start bitching at them tomorrow.

    You are correct. The last couple weeks of struggles has made some of us forget that this team has pulled off these sort of stunts for a majority of the SEC schedule.

    I'm still in the "lucky to be this far" mindset and in full appreciation of what this coaching staff done.
