Is Bragg that bad at 3rd? His hitting can't be much worse. Stovall comes back and move Cody back to the outfield and Bragg at 3rd should be our best hitting lineup.
Hopefully Alexander is settling in. His stats say he was 2/11 (.180) with 4 k on the weekend; but if he steps on 1b Thursday night, he's 3/11 (.270) with a double. I thought he had some good swings this weekend. He definetely has to step up though
tried looking back but couldnt find it. Somebody put a statistics sheet that compiled several different categories and Luke was somewhere around 4-5 on the team.......
Belmont is overmatched right now at the plate. Either we see some improvement soon or Stovall needs to play 3rd. You can't hit .175 and play 3B. It's a line-up killa.
On the weekend...
Mangum -- 4/13 .310
Rooker -- 5/13 .380
Gridley -- 1/10 .100
Macnamee -- 2/8 .250
Brown -- 6/11 .550
Poole -- 4/12 .250
Alexander -- 3/11 .270 (giving credit for hit thurs)
Lovelady -- 3/9 .333
Blaylock -- 0/8 .000
If you're going to use SSSs, use the most recent. Alexander handled the ball pretty well this weekend against the 2nd best BA against and 3rd best ERA in sec.
Go back 2 more sec games and Alexander is 4/14 (.290). Not sure why you pick now to say he needs to be benched except for just pushing my buttons which you always have a nack for haha
Lmao- now we are giving Belmont credit for hits he didn't get. Holy shit
He was 2/11 on the weekend- he is 5/29 in SEC play- there is no defending that. With Kentucky and SC coming up- we'll see how it goes
Why would we take LA out and leave Blaylock in?
