Moton committed to an Alabama assistant that didn't have authority to make an official offer. So they slow played him since. He has no committable offer from Bama he has found out. He may also have some qualifying issues.

Bama wasnt going to drop TD but they're not going to try to hold on to him. It's best for both to move on but they visited him the day before the dead period started to set up an OV. Was he a priority recruit for them? No but he also hasn't been on the chopping blocks for months like they're trying to insinuate.

We've had a few guys over the years who tried to commit or say they've committed but found out the coaches didn't take their commitment. Moton committed the coaches accepted it.
