Kudos to Birmingham Southern
Won their Super Regional yesterday and are headed to the D-III CWS. After a third of the team contracted food poisoning Friday night. The entire bullpen got it, closer went to the ER and a couple others ended up in the hospital during the game yesterday. Relief pitchers on IV's during the game. One of the relievers was walking around with a mobile IV and pitched the 7th and 8th innings. Crazy stuff. Oh yeah, and on top of all that the school is closing permanently this week.
