Yeah. This is just wrong. 1st base coach has plenty of responsibilities and probably holds up Jake in that situation. Yeah, a lot of things are reads by the player and need to be at the college and high school level, but that doesn't negate the fact that an experienced coach at 1st base helps keep a lot of things clean.

My criticism of him is the same as it was when we were rolling. We are dead last in OBP and walks in sec. You will not have hits fall all the time, but the ability to work counts helps you reach in hard times. We don't have that

No. Baseball is such a crazy sport sometimes. Bat's going cold, plus really good pitching by OSU, and a little bad luck have been our undoing offensively.
