it's time for AA to earn his paycheck...

if he waists acuna, riley, olsen, and others after letting fried, FF, and swanson walk then he is an issue. i like the weiss hire. it could be as simple as health...but they need to go spend money on a bat and pitching.

i was a huge snit supporter but if weiss and crawl some ass a little more often i think that would be beneficial. i do believe that is what was lost more than anything when FF and dansby left. riley isn't gonna lead that way, acuna is more concerned with pimping homers, olsen is quiet, and harris is designing head-bands. hopefully sale has been with the team long enough now to fill in some of that role.

Yeah - the leadership left with Freddie and no one seems to have replaced that.

The real issue is pitching though. I don't think I've ever seen a team use 46 pitchers in 1 season and be successful - 19 different starters.
