Asking for a friend, is this going to be another overrated bunch like the football playoffs when not playing other SEC teams?

nope all that matters is who number one and it will either be one of 2 teams, FLA or Aubbie. Heck I think 3 out 4 in the Final 4. Sorry Houston Tenn is better.

I would be surprised seeing Jans leaving after this season is done. He makes pretty good money also.

For some reason I can't see it him going to Iowa. One thing about rebuilding, not sure it's as easy as many think on ED with the portal and NIL. We could have some decent returning players next year is the main reason.

I read yesterday he gets an automatic raise and an extension for making the tournament so he's in a good spot. I also read yesterday the SEC will be a big player (again) in the basketball portal with "Texas, State and Ole Miss" planning on spending big (that from annonymous college coach). I can't remember where I saw that now, somewhere on Instagram. Add those two things together and I think he's planning on staying.

That's very encouraging. We need to hit on a pg and a shooter... and for the love of God, make sure they can defend

Yep. The SEC was never going 14-0. Vandy, Arkansas, Oklahoma and UGA are marginal. MSU and Ole Miss matchups are toss ups.

Yeah. Think it was Hoops that said we were in that marginal/toss up group. I had to agree but hoped and actually believed we would win it in a close one. Commerce said it best, we're capable of beating anyone and also of losing to anyone. That made this season absolutely torturous.

Vandy is out. As my OP, getting 14 out of 16 in was much like having so many in the football playoffs who underperformed. OM hanging on didn't help my feelings either.

I want Kentucky to lose so bad. They created this monster with Cal. If they would've just kept their mouths shut, Cal and that team wouldn't have come in with piss and vinegar and gained confidence in how they played that night. But as usual, the dumbasses of Kentucky can't help themselves. They think they are basketball royalty but UCONN has won more national championships in the last 20 years than Kentucky has since integration. They're just slightly better than UCLA, but they're not a blue blood anymore.
