If you're focused on the mustard buzzard midweek blunder instead of us beating a top 10 ranked team by double digits... maybe reassess your priorities a bit?

Take the happiness right now. This board been awfully quiet about basketball Saturday and today compared to prior saturdays and tuesday/wednesday nights....

Huge win! Yall are welcome for the win. I had to turn it off at half time and wasn?t able to watch. Of course the team finally does what they are capable of when I can?t watch

Great win. Let's get another Saturday... Oklahoma just got blew out, and they desperately need a win. This game will be tough

Harris may have found his swagger. 4-8 from 3. He and hubbard combined for 7-14 from 3 and 40 points.

Matthews played the classic game we need from Cam. 6 steals. 17 for the team. He punked Aggy at their own game.

RJ Melendez bless his heart kept shooting those corner 3s. They'll fall eventually for him. Outside of 1 second of super tic tac where he got two fouls, he played phenomenal defense and his offensive rotations were saving us from bad turnovers. We thought Claudell might be a lost cause at their corner 3 and he's gotten right. Now we need RJ to find it.

Hubbard - can't say enough about him. He also knows when to go for the dagger moments. He has such a feel for the rhythm of the game. Glad he hit his second attempt at just killing Aggy's hopes.

Nwoko/Murphy duo were quiet on offense. Outside a run at the end of the first half where we would drive and bounce it in to Murphy, felt like they were pretty nonexistent on that end and Aggy tried to neutralize them. Murphy made a ridiculous shot sure. But the bigger impact was defense. Aggy could. not. drive. on us. If they can be that interior D presence... we're rock solid.

Kugel had a Mr. Hyde performance on O tonight. He is very Jekyll and Hyde and you know it early on. Jans has learned this and managed him well. Kugel understood what type of game he was going to have and started doing little defensive things to make himself a net positive on the court. He's showing growth.

Warren with the boneheaded play of the night. Glad Jans didn't kill his confidence and let him have some crucial 2nd half minutes. But son, think.

Looking at the stat sheet you would think Jones just did cardio until that late 3. But he disrupted a ton defensively even if it didn't show in the stat sheet. A&M did not get any cross court passes. It felt like every loose ball was a battle and he and Cam were scrapping for it. He made sure to meet every pass through the press. Between him and Kugel, sometimes it's the plays you make that don't lose the game that can matter more than the plays you make to win the game. They embodied that tonight.

Keep the momentum going with a big win against OU Saturday and we're back in the top 15 and conversations of 3/4 seed line return. Hail State.

Hubbard is figuring it out. Last year and earlier this year he was either shoot it from 3 or drive to the basket to get it blocked. He has added that 12-15 foot jumper now to his game that he needed. So now he is harder to guard. You can see he is putting in work.

We won the coaching battle. We saw on film that the corner 3 was open vs their D. Early on it was Melendez and he made 1 but had just a couple rim out. Bad luck and then he lost a little confidence. 2nd half? We put Harris in that spot and he knocked down some 3-balls. Thats coaching.

It was Grinder vs Grinder tonight. We stood tall

The dishes by Hubbard were good too. Only once did I notice he missed an open man, and that was RJ after about 7 corner misses. He hit Claudell the next time he was presented with the option.

It can't be understated that we just won b2b games against top 25 teams by double digits with two wildly different approaches.

Tonight was flow through our star player and lock down defense. Work the clock and shorten the game.

Saturday was everybody feast and constantly move the ball to get an open shot.

Hubbard On, Hubbard Off. It didn't matter. Winning in multiple ways bodes well for the tourney.

Dumb narrative when we beat a top 5 team... twice. Just last year.

He's a great coach and we just have an insane schedule and we timed our slump to not be March. If we can continue ascending (because we have not peaked yet on this ascent) then we can be dangerous. Very very dangerous.

Hoping we just had a mid season slump and are hitting stride at right time, culminating in being the at Memphis dawgs

This is a great year to be a 6 seed. If we aren't careful, we're going to play our way into a 4-5. Can't complain though as long as we avoid Auburn.

Have we ever played as many ranked teams? I'm really not sure. SEC is stacked plus Pitt.

Totally awesome win! Great job players! Great job Jans! And good job fans at the game! Y’all were loud and rowdy. I’m jealous I wasn’t there because I so badly want to post game storm the court!

NIL has created some jealous players which hurts the chemistry, I think things have settle down and we are getting our "groove" back. Hard for Jans to overcome things like the NIL or money certain players got.

Gotta give Jans credit. We had looked like we were starting to fade a couple of weeks ago but the last 2 games we've played with our hair on fire. Great job by Jans for staying the course during a little lull and keeping the players engaged. The sec is so deep this year and every game is a battle. I could see us winning 4 of the next 5 if we continue playing this way. Great job by the staff and players! Hailstate!

We damn well better win 4 of the next 5.

So far, we've played 9 of the top 10 teams in the SEC (one of them twice). The only one we haven't played is ourselves (though that's debatable).

We've only played 2 of the bottom 6. 4 games against them next and 1 game @ Bama. 4-1 would be meeting expectations. And if we do that and don't just get blown out by Bama, we'll still be ranked and likely in-line for the 4/5 seed line. Couple wins in SEC tourney would bump us to 3 seed. Early exit dips us to 6 seed.

Just gotta execute. Though it would be nice to turn this 2 game win streak into a 16/17 game win streak (depending on if we get double bye or not - it's still in play for us).

Agree but gotta put an * by that. I mean we wouldn't play 5 ranked teams all those years ago all year. We played like what 25 this year by year end?

Agree with the statement. Are you saying this has been issues on our team? Wouldn't surprise me.

Claudell's three threes inside seven minutes were the hammer, and he added a free throw for an even ten. Nwoko's sky drop and the dagger threes by Hubb and Shawn pulled the plug on that Aggie life support. We SEIZED that win against #7. It was beautiful.

I was told it was some jealousy which I can understand somewhat why.
I imagine many teams have this issue.

I'd also like to take some credit for the win. I've learned if I watch but mute the sound, we win, if I turn up the volume we lose. I've tested this theory over the last 6 games and have scientific proof it works.

All kidding aside, that was so clean.

A while back I was going to "jokingly" say that maybe the 3-headed monsters' problems for that stretch was that they were wanting more NIL. If that's what it was, good thing we paid it. Lolz

Really doesn't surprise me. Seemed obvious we were not playing with the same energy and desire. I think most programs have these issues now in all sports due to NIL.

Those that win a lot I think have less issues with it.

That's the truest statement here. We TOOK it. That was the difference in Tuesday and all their come from behind wins on the road this year. When they were teetering in other games, those teams let them hang around. When they were teetering against us, we landed the knockout punch and continued punching until the ref pulled us off.
