I honestly can't believe Gayle Benson actually made a personnel decision. Honestly, kudos to her. We need to rebuild. We honestly need to just go ahead, complete the tank, hire a great offensive mind(Kiffin?) and go all in on a QB in this draft class. I would set my sights on Shadeur or Cam Ward.

Personally, I'd like to go with vrabel. He's shown he can win a non-elite qb in the past, and his toughness would be greatly appreciated here by me.

I could be sold on a college coach like lenning, sark, and kiffin too though.

Lane Kiffin to the Saints.****

Seriously though, it needed to be done. Dennis Allen is not even a mediocre head coach. He's just bad.

Dennis Allen Career Record before the Saints: 8-28

Yet somehow we thought we should hire the guy. Then we gave him a roster that was tailormade to AT WORST win a BAD NFC South. Couldn't do it. Then it was he needed a QB to win an EVEN WORSE NFC South. Still couldn't do it. A lot of this I blame Sean for. I think he publicly advocated for Allen to get the job when we should've been looking elsewhere. Coaches hired in the same cycle: Nick Sirianni and fmr. Saints asst. Dan Campbell.

Campbell was 2021, not 2022.

Campbell was 2021, not 2022.

Damn....I thought Sean left in 20. But you're right it was 21. Sean probably stayed a year too long as well. It was evident in 19 that he was getting tired of the grind in NOLA. O'Connell and McDaniel were both out there in 22 and we could've gotten them. I also remember Brian Flores, pre torpedoing his career, being out there too.

We hired arnett and Allen in the same cycle. Both of my teams took the lazy route, and I have had to suffer through it, along with you and others

I am not a Saints fan, but if they can convince him to take the job, Ben Johnson is the first call that should be made.

Ben Johnson, Joe Brady, and Todd Monken.

Everyone will call him, but the cap issues and aging roster make the saints a not so attractive option. He probably ends up in Chicago

Ben Johnson, Joe Brady, and Todd Monken.

I like monken better than Brady. Brady wasn't good at all at Carolina, so I think he's basically carried by Allen

Ben Johnson will be the hottest name out there this coaching cycle. Cowboys, Saints, Jets, Giants, Browns, and possibly Raiders. Also wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles made a move. They are antsy with Sirriani and their championship window is just about closed.

Had to be. Micky never would've done it and he needs to be next. Right after the game that was the big topic on Herberts show, would the Saints make a move during the season. None of them thought that Micky would do it. That Benson would have to be the one. Now it's Jerrys tuen to get rid of McCarthy.

Ben Johnson, Joe Brady, and Todd Monken.

Definitely Todd Monken.

Definitely Todd Monken.

Monken would be an interesting fit. I definitely think he was a key to UGA's success and he has that Baltimore offense looking downright scary right now. If you can draft the right QB, it could be a quick turnaround. Hell, look at Washington. The right QB magically solved their issues.

I think whoever drafts Shedeur is going to have to have a strong experienced head coach to deal with the media and Deion.

Having Lamar and Derrick Henry really helps also, Screw you Jerrah for not signing Henry.

There's some truth to that, but I think Deion's main goal has always been get his kids to the league. I think he'll settle down a bit once Shadeur and Hunter go Top 5. What will be interesting is if he'll stay at Colorado after this year. He seems to be trending that program up, but A TON of that has to do with who's playing QB and the fact that 12 is on his team and not the other team

Jerry Jones punted on this year. Everything tells me exactly that, especially living out here in Dallas. All the talking heads say the same thing, look how he constructed this team and was not aggressive at all. He wants to blow this team up and start fresh next year with a new coach, Dak, Ceedee, and Parsons.

Yeah I feel like Brady needs an elite offense, especially at qb (I guess who doesn't). Him at Carolina wore off some of his luster for me. I'd be interested in Monken. Wish we would have hired him after he left southern. O well.
