I want him to do well, and I know he's an offense man. In his first interviews he talked about state always been known for tough and stout on defense. Why in the heck did he not put more effort on that side of the ball is unbelievable. It's just hurting him and what he
s trying to do. And one more thing. Is it our line getting pushed back like three yards every play or is our QB just sets up to close to our line to throw a pass. He is smarter than me, but he never rolls the QB out to give him time or take off running for yards.

How bad do you have to be on the line of scrimmage to be 1-7 with pretty good quarterback play...

I would like to know the answer also regarding o-line. I said it earlier in the year that if you will zero in just watching the o-line you will see our guys back peddling the second the ball is snapped. Often this back peddling leads the D-linemen straight back to our QB thus causing disruption of the play called. I would like to know if this back peddling is by design or is our o-line just so weak that they are just unable to stand up and block like a man.

I looked it up. If we scored 29 points per game, we would be 1-7. If Ole Miss scored 29 points per game, they would be 8-0.

We do have a talent deficiency on the o line. None of our starters would start for any other sec team except possible Ethan minor on a few. They have faced probably 3 out of the 5 most talented defensive lines in the past 4 games. AM, Texas, and Georgia all have guys that will play on sunday and Arkansas is not chopped liver.
MVB and lebbys play calling has made up a lot for their lack of talent. Really remarkable the yards and points put up.
Now on the defensive line, the talent is worse than the o line. The guys we played vs Arkansas on the d line wouldn’t make a travel roster for any other sec team. It’s bad. Real bad. The backers and secondary are below average but the d line is the worst in power 4.

It?s been a blessing in disguise this year that my work schedule has not allowed me to attend or even watch much of State football. The little I?ve seen has been a disgrace to the brand on both sides of the ball really

If Lebby keeps Hutzler as his DC I won't renew my tickets because I'd know we have an idiot running the program that we can't afford to buy out.

I think if he keeps Hutzler his whole reputation of a coach will be destroyed by the whole nation. He should have already fired him. Other coaches have this year. Lebby needs to wake up fast be the boss.

That is a very sobering and telling statistic.

Well make that 8-1. If Ole Miss scored 29 against Arkansas they would have lost.
