Have you seen the new forecast intensity models for the soon to be Gulf Storm. Glad it's forecasted to go into the panhandle and not the coast/ Most of the models have it between a 920MB to a 940 MB low at landfall.

I've seen it. Not sure I buy that yet, but I certainly can't say it won't happen. The sooner it develops a distinct center of circulation the more likely that becomes.

All of our data is showing land fall as a cat1-2 range with landfall east of PNCity. This was as of 0600. We are still evacuating the east GOM. It will strengthen and tighten up.
