First time in lifetime of being season ticket holder that Stone(?) Street by Frat Houses was closed at HWY12 intersection so no access to Lot 28. Had to drive to exit to The Hump and drive back to Bost and on to the lot. Took about 30 minutes to get back to son's apartment on S Montgomery after the game. Called the Bulldog Club and was referred to MSU traffic division, who said it was closed due to foot traffic at that intersection. Had to turn east on 12 and then go back west after game. After sitting about 15 minutes at "Strangebrew" intersection there is little doubt in my mind that leaving traffic lights on to do their thing might be better than SPD directing traffic. We stayed until the end with maybe 8K other hardy fans. I cringe to think how bad exit will be when about 55 to 60K stay until the end of the game.

Didn't have anything other than normal problems heading south down Stone and taking a left onto Blackjack east. But, I do have an idea that would improve post game flow south down Stone and it has to do with re-routing pedestrian traffic. At the moment, I'd say over 90% of pedestrians walking south down Stone after the game to get to vet school parking or tennis court parking (if they allow you park there) are walking down the east side of Stone. That causes traffic stoppages at 3 locations (red arrows in both pics). If these post-game pedestrians were re-routed to the west side of Stone while still north of the intersection with Bully (yellow arrows in both pics), pedestrians would only be crossing two lot exits instead of making 3 road crossings full of traffic. Both vehicle traffic and pedestrians would move faster.
This would work since currently they have Bully west of Stone blocked and Blackjack west of Stone blocked after the games. Unfortunately, I do not believe there is currently a sidewalk on the west side of Stone so my idea won't happen this year.

I was told that MHP didn't show up Saturday to help with traffic flow as they always do. Wasn't there, so not sure if true.

Bought a parking pass to Lot 26 next to the Hump on the College View side. No problems coming in or going out after the game. Went out by 12, 82, bypassed Starkville, to Highway 25 to Brandon.

We park Greek and didn’t have any problem getting out. If MHP wasn’t there that could be part of the issue. I didn’t see them now that I think about it.
