College World Series
The event?s popularity on television and streaming has also continued to soar. The NCAA reported that the first six College World Series games were the most watched on record, averaging 1.2 million viewers. North Carolina-Tennessee drew a high of 1.7 million on ESPN2.

Vs

Womens College World Series
The details: Game 2 of the championship series peaked at 2.3M viewers and averaged 1.9M on ESPN, up 7% YoY. The two-game series' average viewership was 1.6M, down slightly from 2021's record-breaking

Not wanting to start a feud but obviously there IS a large interest in Mens college baseball through out the country. Without mega schools like Univ of Texas, LSU etc.

The entire field was from the southeast, so saying interest is throughout the country really isn't necessarily true is it.

Pish Posh! More people watched Pat Sajak's final episode than watched the entire college World Series. It is a southern sport and that is who are watching it! Southerners.

I don't think it's just Southerners watching it. Social media is one of the best things to happen to college baseball. People are getting exposed to crazy plays, antics that typical college teams do and etc. And it's building fans. MLB fans want to see some of the prospects that their team might draft and honestly it's good competitive baseball.

There is no question that the game is growing.
