UVA hitting is like Texas A&M or Tennessee if the ACC stats translate to SEC stats.

UVA pays the hitting coach 174k. That's 100K less than Goat. Been assistant coach of the year 3 times.

But we can still improve and if we can get great hitting to go with our pitching we can be elite like we all want.

The biggest issue I see from watching us is the lack of adjustments in game and also throughout the season. I don't know very many hitting coaches that would let a guy like Hunter Hines just take Daddy Hacks all season. And sitting him or dropping him in the order isn't going to do a damn thing about it.

Yeah, he's a UVA guy. Just mentioning that MSU pays top dollar for Hitting instruction.

Also, give Parker a damn raise. We've got a top 10 pitching staff which is wild considering where we were last year this time.

We sure aren't getting top dollar results and the bad thing is Gotro is going to have significantly less proven hitting talent to work with next season.

Seems that having a reputable and excellent hitting coach can make the school a destination site for Portal kids.

Imagine BM on the MSU team, batting 2nd or 3rd between Mershon and DJ or Hujsak. Probably earns MSU 3 more SEC wins in the regular season. 20-10 and national seed.

Who is his personal coach?
