Not sure if true, but I read they may be deviating from the comics and having Daryl be the one that Negan takes under his wing instead of Carl. Theory was that they were doing that to keep Daryl's character relevant since he is not in the comics. Also read something that after the alliance eventually beats the saviors that Negan becomes an ally to the group and they all then have to face the next maniacal group called the Whispers.

Chandler Riggs has talked in some interviews about the relationship between he & Negan getting pretty twisted and being excited to explore that dynamic. I really hope they kill off Negan or leave him alive and evil as a threat who could return at any point. Negan as a good guy would be jumping the shark.

I have been reading this to get caught up on the comic with out buying the comic.

I think she is going to end up running Hilltop. I just don't see them putting up with Gregory much longer and I don't think Jesus wants to be in charge.
