Trying to think of adjustments that might be plausible...
1. Go tempo. If we are going to dump it off 3 yards at a time, let's get to the line of scrimmage and go hurry up. Maybe we can wear down the defense by the 2nd half.
2. Reduce our 3 foot splits to something a little more conventional. Please add a toss sweep or something to the outside.
3. Maybe this isn't plausible, but go to Garrett Shrader. He apparently looked pretty good in practice and we know he will give us a boost in the run game. He won't slide short of the first down marker.
Leach probably won't do anything. Just more reps and better execution.

Maybe quit worrying because you have no answer. The coaching staff will or won?t make adjustments and I guarantee their ain?t anyone on this message board got a pulse.
Be pissed and live with it but don?t think you have a answer. The funny thing is some will claim a great knowledge of this offense when we do something different

He's just doing what he does... all coaches at state are infallible in his eyes.

The only changes we may see will be with the players playing. He's not going to change the system. But he may/probably will change QB's. I think he may re-work the offensive line too.

Tempo should be the first change up. It doesn't require any real change, so it's possible imo
-
Ha! But yet you all of a sudden have a answer to a new offense. When we move the ball pat yourself on the back. A straight win win situation. The shit we are going through are called growing pains but you experts will say the coach listened to you

If I ever say that the coach "listened to me" I 100% guarantee you that I'm being sarcastic. With or without these.**

I think he's going to go with a different QB. Probably Rogers. Maybe Shrader. The decision making has to be better and quicker. That's why I think there is such a disconnect between our QB and receivers. Rogers to me looked like he was making better decisions and making them more quickly. One of his INTs' was a ball where Osirus was open and had the ball taken away from him. That should have been a TD.
I still think- like Matt Wyatt pointed out last week- that there are opportunities for plays there but we aren't taking advantage of them.

You would think they would be more up tempo with an 8 play playbook

Ha. I didn't catch the full story yesterday. We have a play named "6". ???? Arkansas didn't have to "steal" signals. They heard us at the line...."6".... "8". Hahahah.

He needs to figure out what to do when a team rushes 3 an drops 8. Until he figures that out, his system ain't going to work. Little short 5 yard passes all night ain't going to cut it.

Great coach speak.
?Growing Pains?
We are getting beat by the 3-8 defense. The same 3-8 defense that Washington beat him with. That is not a growing pain, that is your coach being exposed and failing to adjust. The SEC has better athletes than he is used to seeing. Teams have DL that can put pressure on the QB 3 on 5. Teams have LBs that can run with WRs and RB.
It?s not a growing pain to get out schemed. A growing pain is having a young QB or a young defense that isn?t ready. Not our problem.

"6" is four verticals, at least it was in Swing Your Sword. Did we ever run that yesterday?

Shrader would make the QB run a possibility. Right now the defenses KNOW the qb ain't gonna run!!!

Right now, we have 8 defensive players playing a small area of the field and all sitting back reading the qbs eyes. Seems pretty dang effective against our entire offense considering we run the ball 10% of the time. Even with a run, everyone is literally looking at the qb. We haven't hit a player in stride in 2 games. So....I am sure the WR are tired of getting completely destroyed everytime they grab the ball for 3 yards.
