That is probably going to be your best shot. Timing has storms in Starkville around noon. First round of storms about to move in now and then there may be an open window barring new development.

Think the threat for Hattiesburg has diminished some? Radar looks like it's a jumbled mess and not necessarily a big line

Hatties burg area looking at straightline winds near 60 MPH. This line is about 20 mile west extending from Wiggins to Prentiss areas.

Yeah we just had a small line come through. I was curious about tornado threat

Slidell, LA with two tornados (or two touchdowns by the same one maybe), Stennis Space Center with one as well. Several other warnings in the Picayune, Diamondhead, & Biloxi/Gulfport areas. Looks like it was a rough morning down that way.

We've had a lot of rain and lightning and some wind gusts maybe to 30mph but thats about it. We're soggy but no issues here in Jones County.

Severe threat appears to be over for the state but more storms and rain are expected tonight further saturating the grounds. This, in conjunction with winds gusting up to 40mph tonight and tomorrow will add to the threat of trees falling.
