Doesn't everyone in rounds 11-20 have a $125,000 bonus limit per pick? Certainly you can offer less. I'm not sure. Maybe someone can clarify.

I found it on the internet. Players in rounds 11-20 can sign for up to $150,000 without counting against the team's bonus pool. If they sign for more than that, any amount over $150,000 counts against the team's bonus pool

He may just be ready to move on, but you'd think for how little money he's going to get at that spot he'd be thinking about whether he will have more fun being in college next year or playing in the minors.
