2. His offense doesn't fit our personnel at all. It would be a major transition and would take a couple of years. We don't have the QB and maybe running backs for it. Oh and his offense sucks unless you like the QB running the ball up the middle 20 times a game.

3. He's going to puss out against Bama. Guess we're Ok with that?

4. There's no guarantee he wouldn't leave us again or use us again. Yeah the first few years he may be all in but after that then that Big 10 job looks really good. Just like when you take your ex-girlfriend back again don't be surprised if she cheats on you.

I don't want to be Dan Mullen's bitch because he took us to number one for a few weeks and then didn't even finish the job.

We've already offered Petty at Starkville and the QB at Madison St Joe's is not a dual threat guy and is pretty highly thought of down the road.

Polk was old when we brought him back. He was 68 years old. He didnt work out because he stopped recruiting off campus. He no longer had the hunger to win and rested on his laurels.

Yea, because he spent 2015-2017 looking for another job. Maybe even before that. Pretty obvious things weren't right when he won 9 games in 2015 and after the season he didn't get his contract extended out to 4 years. Apparently pissed off Dan enough that he gave our administration the bird by wearing shorts during the next season opener coaching against South Alabama.
