    Dak, Matt Wyatt, Healthy Costello

Who would you rather in Leach's offense, and why?

Dak. Not only is he the GOAT, but he knows how to run for his life and get 3+ yards once the line breaks down

Don't know how it can be anyone other than Dak. Costello was a disaster against everyone not named Bo Pelini, and Matt's career completion percentage was below 50%.

If you are talking about a non-Dak QB that would have been interesting to watch in a Leach offense, Tyler Russell would have been really interesting.

    It's obviously Dak always.

Why on earth would anyone choose Costello?

Other than Dak, I'd suggest Tyler Russel or Kevin Fant or Wayne Madkin or Todd Jordan would have been good in Leachs system.

You have to be kidding; are you asking for a debate on this? Stevie Wonder can see that one.

dang! I forgot about Russel. I thought about Madkin late last night. I think I am a little to young to know who Todd Jordan is.

Not Kidding! I was hoping that some folks would not chose Dak for sake of making an interesting argument. I see this post has kinda fallen on its face.

Yeah, I was thinking the same but... Bond, Smith and SLeepy would have been awesome in Mullen's offense. My recollection was if we completed a pass (1980 to 1987 and 1990) it was a miracle.

However, the 1988-1990 years are foggy for me. I guess we were so bad and I was a distracted teen. But I recall Underwood and SHell could throw the ball around but we lost every game badly. Someone feel free to correct me on that. I recall Underwood being the QB then hurt the first game and never came back? Then SHell for a few years??? I don't remeber exactly. I thought Shell was a good passer at that time.

Mayor of Tupelo to you. Helluva HS QB at Tupelo many many years ago.

I played HS against him or more liked watched my teammates play him. He and Copeland were a duo and nobody could keep up. At least not my school.

Later he got to State and Watson Brown was hired as OC. We switched to an option offense that didn't fit his skill set. He finally got his turn at QB his senior year after Watson left and I think Arians was hired... I forgot the OC his senior year.
