He's been solid on defense for sure, but if you are an auto out, you have to be Scott Rolen at 3rd. That was a play he should make, and it followed an AB where he swung at a terrible pitch that woulda been a 3-1 count.
He's been more than solid on defense. Yeah he should've made it and he knows it too. Crap even mlb players boot routine plays. It happens but as I said only 2 errors all year. Last year our 3bs were making 2 a game.

Thats what Ron Said. A scoop a tag on a close play usually gets dropped even at the major league level. Now thats how Polk and Jim described the play.
