    Looks like we're a few votes short still.

    My guess is that we have a few last statesmen using their vote as leverage for some bacon.

    This is politics I guess. If you can land you district a few new roads due to withholding your vote till the end, then I guess you do that.

    Only state worse than Mississippi politics is Louisiana. Kentucky a close 3rd btw.

    He's very wrong on this issue. At the very least there should be a move to return to the old flag pre-Civil War. The 1894 flag is a white power high five and middle finger to the Yankees. It's got to go.

    Incidentally, this is the same dumbass that voted AGAINST the 100 million dollar federal grant to promote broadband internet to underserved areas of the state via electric power coops yesterday. He was 1 of only Senators 3 that voted against it in a bipartisan bill. The guy is a moron.

    My wife and I would love to talk to him face to face for that rural internet vote. If you only knew what I’ve been through trying to get decent internet....
