Or do they capitalize on it. I could see them push to make baseball for one more popular. More ratings throughout the year. Not sure how Michigan and notre Dame will do but bringing in Stanford and ucla will help fox baseball ratings. Year round viewers help their bottom line.

Football will be separate. Football is going to completely break away.

NIL is just a distraction. Conference realignment is the real money game.

ESPN and Fox will get the teams they want in their conference. In order to sustain teams and players money is the key. Perhaps the new NIL monies comes from ESPN and Fox aimed directly at the players.

In addition to what you are saying, Disney/ESPN will probably take over a good part of game scheduling. Disney/ESPN did not pay hundreds of millions of dollars to have week 11 cup cakes polluting their time slots. They will exact revenge if the Fox conference has a better product in late November and kills them, in the ratings, because of bad game scheduling by the SEC?. I see both networks mandating that Power 2 conferences only play against Power 2 competition. Something like the first two weeks Disney/ESPN teams play Fox conference teams and then 10 Disney/ESPN games before their playoffs.

Espn/fox will be paying them.
However the question is, will there be a draft?
