Home Cooking This Saturday?
I posted this in another thread but thought I'd make a post for some discussion.
Since the SEC refs screwed us last Saturday what are the odds we get some very favorable calls this Saturday? I mean, LSU really wants O gone. I'm not saying the refs hand us the game on a silver platter but give us some favorable calls that keep us in the game with a decent chance to win.

I don't want home cooking. I just want the damn game called fair and consistent, and if it is not Leach (or some appointed coaching representative) better be in someone's face over it.

After the cluster**** Saturday I want some home cooking. I think it's owed at this point. And that's probably the discussion Cohen had with Sankey Monday morning.

I like the assumption that Cohen spoke with Sankey.
As I posted in the other thread, ill take it at this point. But, I do agree with Buckethead I just want to beat them, I want to leave that game knowing we are a better team than LSU.
Edit: I know we are a better team than Memphis. But, I cannot say that this year.

How ironic! If the University rolled over to the SEC due to lack of fans bitching at them and demanding fairness, why should we get home cooking in this game? You don't see the hypocrisy in your request do you?
Remember, insanity is doing the same thing (nothing in this case) over and over and expecting a different outcome.

How did the university roll over? You mean the public response that all you public relation gurus thought should have been laced with f bombs and threats. C'mon mane. That shit goes on behind closed doors not in the public eye.

If Cohen didn't personally call Sankey pissing vinegar then he does deserve to be replaced.

I guess we will find out! If this bias continues then the university rolled over. If it stops, then I guess MSU grew a pair and stood up to the good old boy network! Time will tell, but I have not seen anything publicly to indicate otherwise - like the SEC firing the damned crooked officials.
-
No. We will never get the calls in football. It?s an understanding at this point. I honestly think MSU administration has raised the white flag on the football program at this point.

The SEC ain't firing officials. They should given the history of Curles and his crew.

Then the MSU officials failed in their job!
-
I'd bet there's a far better chance we get another one or two inexcusable calls go against us once again.

It's possible but LSU is in turmoil at the moment. The administration wants O gone. I don't see a lot of yellow being thrown to preserve O's job.

Well then I want all the Home cooking for the Bama game. I want every call to go out way. I want every offensive false start (including their tackles leaving .25 seconds early) every holding call, and every reviewed play to go out way. I want every illegal block downfield called, and obviously every time their WRs use the arm bar to push off called. Targeting to be called every time the tackle hard. Etc.
Why waste it LSU, I want it against Bama and UM.

Because Orgeron is on the hot seat. We ain't getting jack shit against Bama. You know better than that Bucket.
This is THE GAME for any payback by the SEC. And it's not to really help us but help LSU get rid of O. Admin and fans want him gone.
-
Some of y'all act like we are the bell cow of the SEC. Maybe Cohen should go to Birmingham with MSU production crew in tow and beat Sankey and Curles arse, live streamed on hailstate football.

LSU doesn't necessarily want O gone for on field performance issues as the sole excuse. They would have to pay out a huge buy out if that is the case, they are banking on other things like NCAA stuff or other off field problems to use as rationale. We will get screwed again as cohen and keenum have rolled over again. there's only accountability when it comes to officials if you publicly criticize them there is not much for the incompetent or dishonest officials themselves.

MSU should push hard for firing the official that blew the play dead. The SEC clearly does not really care about having good officiating, but everybody else made what could be classified as a mistake. He was chicken shit. At the 17ing Liberty Bowl. If you can't own up to your 17up at the LIberty Bowl because you're worried about 17ing Memphis fans booing you, you are simply too mentally weak to be an SEC official. We're not going to get a fair shake by the conference, and the SEC is not going to invest in better officiating regardless, but certainly not as long as the 17ups don't go against Bama. But it doesn't really take any extra money or effort to just get rid of one official that is not up to the job. At the very least, that guy should never call a game other than Bama or UGA home games against non-blue bloods, where the SEC will not care if he is always being chicken shit in favor of Bama or UGA.

So kicking and screaming and throwing a tantrum like a child gets you what you want in life? When has going to an employer and blaming the customer ever worked out? Any decent boss would laugh you out of the room. Go sit in the corner and cry to yourself.
