Almost had an immaculate inning right there. Nasty.

Every pitch but two were strikes that half inning.

Because sometimes a strike can be off the plate. Craftiness has a place in the game of baseball.

That's bad though. Let's fix it.

I absolutely believe that the college strike zone should be enlarged maybe a half to a full baseball width in every direction but apparently they are using the standard MLB strike zone to grade these college umps.

Every level should have bigger plates. And bigger bases. And real grass. And real dirt.

If Loftin can harness his fastball, he is going to be really special for us
-
Cut out those walks and Loftin could be a very solid starter for us

That's how you answer two high and tight on ya

Atta boy Hunter Hines. Just ripped the cover off the ball
-
Dang, Hunter! Cleared the plaza in right. That was a shot.

Best thing about this game to me so far is that 0 in the Error column.

Oh, now you've done it! We will boot 3 or 4 in the next two innings! Ha!

It just feels like we have too much talent to have played as bad as we have at times this year.

It happens when you have a pitcher filling the strike zone.

Fully agree. Our coaches did not have this team ready to play out of the gate at least in the pitching and defense areas. It's not a talent issue.

So much truth in this!
