State people believe we get him. VA people believe they're getting him. I've got a friend that works at VA and he says Hubbard has visited several times. I'm concerned because of that. Really, only the distance is the concern.

Just prepare for it. Hubbard to UVA. Looks like the concern was real.
With Hubbard and Hall likely going elsewhere, we're finishing this cycle with a lot of questions. Missed on some big targets late.
Really need Ike now but that's probably going to be a tough pull if OK wants him. We're down to pretty much nobody at RB as Gary, Clark, and Connor are it right now (not counting Ealy because he's a top 5 MLB pick last update I got). We'll pull Sharp I believe. Not sure we won't go after a Juco RB now but I don't think we're there yet.
We need to kill it this season. That will open the door with a couple guys we're still on. IYOK knows more about the RBs than me.

Yea things don't look good with Hubbard. Richardson looks to be the beneficiary of that. We'll get Sharp & things are trending positively for Danielson Ike.

RB - I wouldn't put Tahj Gary in the same category as Conner or Clark. He has multiple P5 offers & his top 2 are Va Tech & South Carolina & he's a take for both. If MSU or Auburn offer they'd have a great shot at him. I just don't see Clark or Conner getting an offer. I can't speak for Huff or other committed RB but there's a reason we haven't offered more RB since Emery. I'm just not sure who they feel good with. Personally I'd offer & get Gary I think he's legit.

WR - I think we're all in on Mingo as far as HS guys. He's still been receptive to JoeMo & Getsy we just have to prove it on the field. I could see a juco offer or 2 go out. I think Jarrian ends up at WR unless we get Mingo & a Juco.

I also feel good about Ishmael Burdine. I'd take Fred Peters at Jones too but I'm not sure if we will or not.

Danielson Ike is the most important recruit left imo. Sign him & Sharp OL class has taken a step forward. Has to keep getting better but it's a good 1st step. Then sign a legit SEC RB.

They're not going to do anything until Hall & Dean decide. I think Zach Edwards ends up in this class. Kevon Glenn & Dylan Lawrence are on the board.

Don't sleep on Dannis Jackson yet either. I'm telling you, he's not as solid at OM as some people believe. He's just got some things going on and if we put up better passing numbers this season, he's going to be calling. I'd take him and Mingo if I could pull them. I believe Peters is the backup plan for Burdine and Burdine is shaky. Traffic is going to clear about the end of Sept. I think.

We're doing well with Burdine. I'd take both Bc they're recruiting Burdine as a CB/Nickel & Peters is a Safety. I think a good passing year we get Mingo. I'll leave the Jackson positively to you for right now.

Good to see this thread is back to talking actual recruiting again.

For me, the biggest concern isn't filling out the rest of the class. I think we'll get that done (even though some will be disappointed.)

It's holding on to the ones we've already got. Specifically, on the DL since we're loaded there. You know Ole Miss is going to try their annual surprise flip on signing day. Wouldn't be surprised to see them try to flip De'monte Russell. We'll see.

Did Dylan Lawrence attend camps this summer? He seems like a great athlete who may be under-rated. (Actually, he is unrated at the moment.)

He came to top dawg but had to leave before workouts because he rode with McKinnley Jackson and his GF was in an accident and they left to go see her.

We might take Zach but if we do he's a leftover. We don't want him at present and he's not an sec guy. Period. And that's wo the baggage.
