I hate State lost yesterday but I do feel a sense of relief.
I can relax and go back to normal life and not lose so much time.

My family is taking a trip out of the country leaving Monday. If we had made the natty series, I would of been pissed at myself for not being able to make the trip up to Omaha.
At least my vacation will be a little more stress free.

You miss understood. I could go another week or longer if needed but since it is over I have that relaxing feeling.

Being relaxed is a great feeling. Losing is not. I'm not with you even in the slightest. Sure I'm happy we had a such an amazing run, but I am also quite disappointed we didn't win last night. All I can think about is what could've been... How many different ways could things have gone different? And now I sit in eager anticipation of next year while I could be sitting in eager anticipation of tomorrow.

Didn't want to lose, but financially it probably turned out better for me. I bought $200 of reserved tickets for the Finals before the CWS even started. I figured the way we were winning, there was a high probability we could make the finals. Well, came up one game short unfortunately......HOWEVER....I sold my $200 worth of tickets for $400 to an Arkansas fan....so there's that and THAT was good!! Cancelling the hotel, food, gas, time, etc probably saved me another $500-600. So, I will just save that money and put it forward to maybe a nice bowl game in Florida this fall. We can only hope!!
