Great article in The Advocate about Fitz. He?s at the Manning Academy again this year.

I hope Moorhead can get Fitz to not throw off his back foot like he is in that picture.

I guess you would stand in there with perfect technique in that situation? LOL!

    Probably not.

It's just funny that this picture happened to remind me of Fitz's biggest weakness

If he was throwing off his back foot then his right foot would be planted in the ground, it clearly isnt. His momentum may have stopped due to that big ****ing D-Lineman in his face.

Correct. But he's clearly not transferring his weight through the throw.

I certainly understand why in this picture, but not transferring his weight through throw has been a consistent problem for Fitz regardless of whether he's technically throwing off his back foot or not.

That play was the play-action pass that went for a TD against LSU. He’s back-pedaling in that picture because he faked a handoff, faked the QB read option, then was throwing a lob pass to a wide open receiver with no one within 7 yards of him.

    Give the guy a break.

    This is the correct answer.

I liked this quote "Before there was a bit more yelling and screaming. Now it's a little more talking and making sure we're understanding."
