It declines straight from release. Chapman is about the closest at release to the lift coefficient of the weight of the ball to equal the Magnus force needed for a pure straight pitch much less a rise

Now the announcer is knocking Starkville, as in how could so nice a stadium be there.

Im not gonna argue with you over who is more talented bc neither one of us know who is and if we did it would be an opinion and not a fact. We havent lost. They have.
We are playing as well as anyone coming into this game and we are in the middle innings of it and now we dont have the talent to win it.

The effort & mentality simply was not there.
If you don't have your best stuff it's hard to compete no matter how hard you try. The reason me and several others went after you on that statement was the crack about the parents. If you had left it at not competing I still wouldn't necessarily agree, but I wouldn't have argued with you either.

I've never claimed Gautreau was a genius.
And if you don't think Rowdey and Allen have sucked it up in the CWS, then I can't help you

We have every resource needed to be that. There is no element that we are missing except the right coach.
I'm really proud that we are where we are this year, but it's clear that there is a talent discrepancy between us & the other 3 teams left, but there shouldn't be. We have the resources to have that program but for some reason have been unable to tap into them since 2013 or two years ago. Why we can't consistently recruit good athletes at both pitcher & positions is odd to me.
It's ****ing college baseball. It's not pro baseball and i don't give a **** how many big leaguers we get. In college baseball you don't have to be the most talented to win a title. You don't have to have 12 draft picks. Where the **** is Kentucky right now with all their picks? Same place as ****ing OM

It's not in Starkville. It's in "Mississippi State, Mississippi". Now if Starkville is allowed to annex state property, I suppose it'd be in Starkville. But Starkville has nothing to do with the presence or lack of presence of the stadium.
Tuscaloosa wouldn't have a football stadium that seats 105,000 if UAT wasn't there either.

As of now we are 6-0 against all that superior talent. Or do you and Yancy agree on that too... that it was all luck?

If James pitches the rest of the game you have to look at it like a win. We have to have our bats wake up though so we can get further into their pen. They are razor thin in their bullpen and pitching wise.

I wasn't really listening. Is he injured, meaning will miss game time? Or just has ... a boo boo?
