Everybody chill out. Billingsley is not great, but their #3 sucks too.

Honestly my biggest gripe with Henderson is how he manages the pitching staff and bullpen. It's obvious that he tries to save everyone instead of playing to win the game at the moment. Look at how many times Pilkington has thrown 100 pitches in a game no matter how he performs. Same thing with Small last night.
Whoever we get needs to be able to bring in and develop elite arms- like Butch did. That's how you win in Omaha.
I think our pitching staff under Henderson finished around 11th in the league.

Vandy's likely starter, Hickman has an era of 5.22. JB's is 5.05. We have self and France tomorrow too. Might now be such a bad matchup

LT definitely would.

Not speaking of this season, but of state's post season history. Games like this have broken us in the past

Yeah- but unless we put up an 8 spot on him in the first inning they're going to bring out a bunch of guys throwing 94+ that our hitters can't catch up to.

I think we can win tomorrow. That’s what our team has done all year. We have to have our backs to the wall before we perform.

Allen killed us that game at the plate. If he does anything but strike out we get that run home. I also didn’t think that guy caught the ball without aid from the wall.

I think it depends on whether the umpire gives Billingsley the call on his curveball or not. It seems like SEC umpires usually did not.

This. They've found out how to shut us down. Just throw heat. Our guys can't hit it and if they do, it doesn't leave the infield. Also, it may just be me that has noticed, but
we can't hit left handed pitching worth a crap

I agree about Allen. He looked like a freshman tonight.

Look, hate to say it but that's baseball. I hate to see us lose, but shit man the guys are battling. We got this. Slugfest tomorrow, hope we can have an amazing 6 innings out of our starter and have the 5 run lead from the get go.

We'll both of our switch hitters hit the ball better from the left side.

Skelton looked lost tonight too. I'd consider playing Gilbert tomorrow.

Oh no, haven't you heard? There's 0 way our team can win a big game. JB, France, Gordon, and Self is a terrible staff and even though we scored 10 game 1, there's also no way we can do that again in game 3. Our team will "cave" under pressure, just like we did against top 10 teams in the regular season and in the regionals.
There's no need to look at what Vandy's pitching situation is, we've already lost. They rolled out good arms tonight, which clearly means they many more such arms and definitely didn't use up their best guys. All hope is lost, may as well name the new coach now

Come on mane... we hit ark, om, and Florida staffs. They have big time velocity. They got us tonight. Still got another shot tomorrow

Yup. Rowdey did hit his triple from the right side, but Jake has looked like a completely different hitter batting right.

Absolutely. He should be rested and ready to go.
