Henderson managed this like a typical weekend series...you don't do that in the postseason when you are 5 outs from Omaha. You put your best on the mound to START the 8th and let him get 6 outs. He only threw 15 pitches last night!! If the logic is to bring him in with the lead, then we were up 3-2 to start the 8th and still up with only 1 out. He may be out there tomorrow and we don't even sniff the lead. What a waste!!

Oh my gosh guys stop with this whole "Season's over" "No Omaha for us" BS. We won 4 straight elimination games last week. We scored 10 of this teams' friday pitchers just yesterday. We'll have Gordon, France, and Self good to go tomorrow. We would have won tonight if A) we didn't do dumb shifts B) Allen could put the ball in play, or C) Self was put in. Any of those 3 go our way and we're in Omaha. And y'all want to act like this team is beat

Comments like this are hilarious to me because when we were doing well it's some crazy coach in waiting scenario for a lot of our fans and now most of our fans want him gone again.

I honestly don't see us doing that even if we make it to Omaha or even if we won the whole thing. There would be some sentiment to hire him but I don't think Cohen would.

No. Difference in the game is the ridiculous shifts we used tonight. That and Self. At some point we are going to have to win a ****ing one run game with our pen or what’s the point? Neff did his job getting four outs. You go to Self with six outs to get. When have we pitched Neff for extended innings? That triple was a joke. It was a freaking routine ground ball to the shortstop. It wasn’t even smoked or hit that hard. It rolled all the way to the wall because we had our infield shifted one way and our outfield shifted another. We lost this one because of coaching.
