We need Cole to finish this out. He can do it if he gets his head right. That double play could be the catalyst.

No s***!!! He bounces around more any catcher I've ever seen. Thought he screwed Cole on one of those curve balls.

Henderson’s bullpen moves working tonight. If Cole goes the rest of the way, we are in as good a shape as we can be for a winner take all game.

The thing about strike throwing is that it's hard to improve.
You can improve it with delivery adjustments, but generally it's about hand-eye coordination, which you either have or you don't.
Saying that, we signed these guys when they weren't throwing strikes. Think about that

I really want to go into tomorrow with Keegan, Neff, Self, and Blake Smith available. That means we need Cole to go deep with maybe Marsh.

If you study Schloss' teams at TCU, while he usually had a pretty big pro prospect on the mound, he ALWAYS had a Friday night baller that threw 88-90 mph with plus command of three pitches.
His big time pitching prospects usually pitched on Saturday.

I don't understand how any college program is looking to sign a player that can't throw strikes first. I'd much rather sign a guy throwing 86-88 but can locate all day long over 91mph but walks every other batter.

Oklahoma brings in a bean pole that can't locate. We'll fix his control issues here.
