Pruitt will be a good slot WR in college. Jameon Lewis type.

The offense he plays in at Noxubee doesnt really help him either. He does need to get in the boat bc I dont see a lot of big other P5 offers coming bc of his size.

He's enjoying the process though I imagine. Let him be a kid. He will be a dawg. We do well with Noxubee kids

Maybe off topic but who is the kid from Mississippi that ran a 4.1/4.2 at a camp this last weekend? I saw his last name was Harrison but that's about it.

    Is he 6'5 4.2?

    Ray Ray Bivens I thought.

Along with Omarr Connor Bivens is the athlete I most wonder how they would have done in a modern spread offense.

Reguarding the WR situation and spots
I don’t think we take 4 unless we miss on some other guys at other sports
Saying that Pruitt needs to go ahead and get on board. I think its first 3 in get the spots.
And if that’s Torbor, Scurry, and Watkins then I’m 100% fine with that

comparing any one to Moss is a joke. Why is Moss in the conversation? I'm comparing Him to other WRs in Ms. --Noxubee doesn't play the Little Sisters of the Poor.--they play against the best. he has lit up the best.

I like Kyziah a whole lot but waiting does seem to make any sense. By all accounts he wants to be at MSU & likes MSU. He doesn't have any other P5 offers so why wait? Does he plan to go to other schools to try to earn offers this summer? If so there's nothing wrong with that just know that the MSU coaches won't keep his spot forever. He has time but just know that time is running out.

It’s amazing how 75% of high school recruits run sub 4.5, and about half claim 4.3, then they get to college and somehow get slower. Amazing I tell ya.

Hell he wasn't lying. Only decent receiver we had that I can remember when Omarr was the QB was Tony Burks.

I think Will prosser might have been the leading receiver one year when Omar was QB and had like under 400 yards for the season. Never like to pile on players like Henig and Prosser because they did what they were asked and were the best option we had, and if that's not good enough, that's not their fault. But I'm not sure Peyton Manning in the prime of his NFL career could have done a lot in the SEC with Prosser as the best wider receiver on the team. Even if somebody came in and "threw the receiver open", I'm not sure our WRs could have semi-consistently caught balls with pressure on them.

yea I think our last commit was middle of April...over 6 weeks ago. What should we expect over the next 7 days? 3-4 commitments?

hudl is listing his 40 time as 4.34. how much difference do you think it is in 4.5 and 4.3----i doubt you could tell the difference on the field. i think Pruitt has been clocked several times.

It's common knowledge that the vast majority of players pick up two or three tenths (or more - looking at you Bear Wilson) between high school and the higher levels, because the clocking equipment gets more precise and high school coaches and camps are trying to sell their players. I'm not saying Pruitt's isn't accurate, but there are VERY few true sub-4.4 guys nationwide. And while you're right that you probably can't tell with the naked eye, there is a world of difference between a 4.3 athlete and a 4.5 athlete.
