Where are they positioning Luke Alexander? He missed two slow rolling balls that went as base hits because he was positioned poorly and Alabama scored again because of it.

Whoever is shifting our players around has cost us 3 runs. Magnum playing normal depth gets to that 3run double and the last RBI basehit was a routine grounder to short if Belmont is not shaded over 5 steps.

MLB teams have analytic depts that are very smart and spend countless hours scouting opponents. MLB teams know how to shift. College staffs do not have the manpower to figure out shifting... probably best to not overshift a lot
