    Who signed Gavin Ware?..

    ..I decided to do a little MSU hoops research to learn which players are dominating in the early going (albeit against inferior competion).

    ESPN stats has Gavin Ware our leading scorer (15.7) & leading rebounder (12.0).

    Seems this kid is a stud & is only going to get better.

    He had offers from Alabama & Georgetown according to scout.com

    So who landed Gavin Ware? Stans or Ray?

    Because in recruiting parlance, Gavin Ware was a good get.

    Gavin committed to Stansbury and stuck around for Ray. He's a good kid from Starkville that I had the pleasure of referee'ing while he played youth ball there.

    ..for keeping Ware on board. You can build around a guy like Ware.

    As young as he is, he seems to have tremendous upside.

    Ware and his whole family are Starkville ppl and MSU fans. I seriously doubt once Gavin got a offer from MSU that he really paid to much attention to other schools.

    But Ray has brought in a good system, discipline, and a work ethic we have sorely needed.
