What if he trips running to first base and breaks a bone? How about he slides into home and collides with the catcher? I would just rather get rid of the pitcher hitting all together.
It is all part of the game. Every other player has those same possibilities. It is similar to saying you can only 2 hand touch the QB in football.

Watching the Rockies right now, we’re goong to have our hands full this weekend. Good news is Teheran generally pitches pretty good there. Maybe he can get back on track.

Nah, I think everyone expecting a repeat of Acuna's breakout will be disappointed. I think he'll be the CF version of Andrelton Simmons. Which is a very good thing.
