    The more I think about it, TR gives us our best chance

    against Bama. Dak would get killed trying to run against that defense. And if he's already dinged up pretty good that's a terrible option. Bama's D is at the other end of the spectrum from A&M. The only chance to beat them is to beat their secondary throwing the ball. That's where TR has a huge advantage. Pounding the ball with Dak against this D would be equivalent to pounding your head against a wall. Their only weakness is over the top.

    (not to mention it sure will be nice to rest Dak and have him ready to go against arky, a team we can run on.)

    Did you see Mettenberger crawl off the field last week? He moves about like Tyler. I hope Tyler doesn't get hurt. That will be a win for me.

    actually, getting to the QB is one of the few things Bama's defense doesn't excel at. Play calling will be key, but I think TR is a bigger threat to their D.... if there is such a thing.
