Off The Top of My head Coaching Hires
It has to be an offensive guy. And one that fits our current personnel.
With that in mind and in no order but Sumlin #1
Sumlin
Lindsey at Auburn
Rich Rod
Hologo
Ryan Day QB coach co OC at Ohio St.
Kiffin
Others but don't have the offensive personnel for the system....
Leach
Chris Hatcher
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

If we hire Sumlin we are idiots. Luckily I know Cohen won’t hire him

Sumlin and Kiffin both definitely have negatives but they would keep most of our recruits.
-
Charlie Strong is a defensive coach but has never struggled to score points.
Death penalty or bust!!!***

If we were to hire kiffin he would jump ship as soon as he had one or two successful seasons. That would be a horrible hire. I’d rather see us hire another unproven assistant.
I wouldn’t be that upset with us going and getting another OC off of the urban coaching tree. I agree it needs to be an offensive guy.
