No - while it was targeting by the rule, the QB dropped down clinching preparing to get drilled. That?s not on Abrahm. The rule doesn?t account for that though which I think is a flaw. You see it happen all the time.

It was targeting and it hurts us vs bama. He is a great run defense guy.

I saw at least three plays against Auburn and Georgia they threw flags for targeting and they picked those flags up. If what Abram did was targeting, those three players should have also been ejected.
