You can't compare booze to porn. God clearly would not approve of the latter and is at worst silent on the former. There is no scripture that states we should not consume alchohol and even implies some consumption is normal as Jesus turned water into wine for the wedding at Cana. The only advise offered in scripture is that it is better to be filled with the Holy Spirit than that kind of "Spirit." The way to put this would be it isn't a sin to drink but be careful about intoxication. Drinking isn't a sin bit getting drunk will probably help you slip down that path.
Just to throw this out there, drinking is no worse than overeating which the USA is pretty good at both. All that said, if Bo did dedicate a large portion of his show then that is pretty dumb. I could understand a few minutes but like someone else said, Jackson is in the buckle of the Bible Belt.
