What do I see in this?
For as much pub as Arkansas's staff got (which was deserved), LSU's was almost as good. They also return Nola (absolute stud), Glenn (solid but I think he's overrated), and most of their pen, so they'll be damn tough pitching-wise this year. USCe, Vandy, and us were all somewhat close together in the 3-5 spots in no particular order. We did create more swing and miss than pretty much every other team, which is great. I expect us to continue that.
UM was very mediocre outside of Wahl. They need Ellis and Buchanan to be healthy and have big years.
I really wish we could have played UT.

Just think we had those K numbers with Graveman and Ross leading us in innings. Not big K guys. Imagine Woody Lingo and Hudson taking the brunt of those innings this year.
Get the shears out boys!

Breaking news ...NCAA committee just voted unanimously to go to the flat seam baseball in 2015. When you have 12 of 14 teams under 4 era, that tells you where the offense was.
Edit...one report said 2015 season, another said 2015 championship. Not sure which yet.

That's what I was thinking too. We led the SEC in K/9 IP with two contact pitchers leading us in IP. With Lingo, Woody, and Hudson playing big roles and Holder coming back, we'll make hitters look foolish many times this year.

I agree we will have a lot more swings and misses with this group.
