Looks like Bryce Harper may have ended his season

Watched the video and a leg isn't supposed to bend like that. ESPN saying apparent knee injury, but I thought I saw his leg bend about halfway on his lower leg.

Yeah if he didn't shred his ACL would be a miracle. It was ugly.

I'm seeing it being reported as a bone bruise.

Regardless, as Stark34 said - lower legs aren't supposed to bend like that....

I saw that today too. If he escaped shredding his acl he's extremely lucky. Giants trainers told rosenthal after they manipulated the knee last night, both acl and pcl were torn but obviously the MRI would be conclusive.

As a baseball fan and engineer, I hate the design of the first base bag. It injurs many players and it can be re-done at low cost, especially for pro-baseball.

It should have a run-through design to depress fully under foot of a base runner. Talking low tech detent device that compresses-to-flush when fully loaded. Additionally, traction strips so it's not slippery.

You're right. Just looked at it again. Amazing from the way that looked that he didn't tear it. He's a lucky lucky man.

Oh, I was sure there would be at least PCL damage. He must have connective tissue that is composed of adamantium.

Can't help but wonder what motivates a person to do that.

Bryce "wolverine" Harper! I don't know how he escaped that with no damage. Like you said has to be the adamantium!
