    Unfortunately, the NCAA is not a great fan of our game. 11.7 scholarships is not enough for a roster of 35...

    I read an article recently that said a significant % of D1 schools don't even use the full 11.7. It's hard to argue for more if the overwhelming majority doesn't use the maximum allowed.

    Baseball needs to be divided into power five and maybe a couple other conferences and then everyone else in a second division.

    Those teams treat baseball like it is a women's sport. They have to have it for whatever conference they are in but don't really care about being competitive. Pretty much only football and basketball actually make money for most schools. Hell, Oregon just got a baseball team after not having one for a while. That school also has Nike footing their bills. They had no team from 1982 - 2008.

    From a scholarship perspective possibly but from a sport perspective I have to disagree. Baseball is great because any team can get hot and go on a run. I like seeing the coastal Carolinas and Fresno states make a run against the big dogs.

    Not one of my favorite people (after not making MSU #1 on his priority list) but he is a good follow.
