Is it a rule every game must be played in Hattiesburg? What about a neutral site? I know there is a turf field in Jackson. Troy and La Lafayette are also turf. Go somewhere the forecast will let you play a double header.

You would think. But the rain was gone by 620 Saturday and the 1.7 inches received was too much to get the field ready, allegedly. Had until 11 to start.

There's a turf band field across the street. Just drop down some bases and a temporary fence.
