Why can't you have an official watching the monitor and stop play and say, hey blown call, he was safe? That's the way football does it. It would take 20 seconds.

Well, we're going to yet again not take advantage of the few scoreless innings our pitchers do give us. How did Tommy John affect our hitting again? Trying to make sure I have that excuse right.

Didn't the SEC pass a rule this year preventing coaches from arguing calls?

That Msstate7 was a bad bad call by the umps there. Mangum didn't just beat it but it was by a whole step. Wasn't even close.

It doesn't directly affect hitting but I think from a mental standpoint of you are a hitter/offense and you feel like you need to score runs it could cause some guys to get away from their fundamentals and try to do too much.

Seriously though, wtf happened to our bats? We were one of the better hitting teams in the league for most of the year, and then suddenly the hitting just stopped. Does anybody have any theories?
